How to check the latest status

Use the Town’s Active Applications page and interactive map for the latest municipal status, documents and planner contacts. Residents should also distinguish between an application being deemed complete, a public meeting, Council approval, site plan approval, building permits and the actual start of construction.

Why this matters for local real estate decisions

Future schools, services, employment space, traffic patterns and new housing can influence how buyers understand a neighbourhood. The effect is property-specific: distance, orientation, access, construction timing and the final approved design all matter. This information should be considered alongside current comparable sales and the characteristics of the individual property.
